BRD Malaysia has completed the installation of a low-temperature cold room for the staff canteen of BIEL Crystal in Hai Duong, Vietnam. This facility, built by BRD’s ARTECO division, maintains a freezing environment of -25°C to safely preserve meat and seafood supplies for daily use.
Located in the An Phat 1 Industrial Park, this cold room supports operations within BIEL Crystal’s vast 30-hectare manufacturing hub, which reflects a major USD 260 million investment.
To achieve superior insulation performance, the structure incorporates 100mm polyurethane sandwich panels. These thick, energy-efficient panels help maintain stable internal temperatures and reduce operational costs. The cooling system is powered by Bitzer water-cooled condensing units for reliable, long-term performance.
