BRD New Materials is proud to announce its participation in the GDS KTP-A Data Center project, located in Skudai, Johor. Developed by GDS Holdings Limited, a leading data center provider in Asia, this high-impact project supports Malaysia’s growing role as a digital infrastructure hub. Construction began in September 2024, and the facility is designed to meet LEED v4 BD+C Data Center certification standards, emphasizing sustainability and operational efficiency.
As part of the first construction phase, BRD has been awarded the contract to supply and install steel keel systems and exterior wall panels for four buildings: Blocks A, B, D, and E. The total wall panel area spans approximately 12,000 square meters, with each building ranging between 2,000 to 4,000 square meters.
The wall systems provided by BRD feature Polyurethane (PU) Sealing Rockwool sandwich panels, known for their fire resistance, thermal insulation, and durability—key attributes for data center environments.
BRD New Materials has actively participated in the construction of multiple data centers across the region, providing high-performance insulated wall systems and professional installation services.
