BRD Completes 18,000 sqm PDG Data Center in 6 Months

BRD New Materials is proud to be part of the PDG Data Center project in Johor, a landmark development that started in December 2023. With a total construction area of 18,000 square meters, this high-tech facility is designed to meet the rising demand for digital infrastructure in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. BRD began construction works in March 2024 and successfully completed the external walls, and internal partitions by August 2024.

To meet the strict requirements of data center environments, BRD used advanced 100mm  Polyurethane (PU) Sealing Rockwool sandwich panels. These panels provide exceptional fire resistance, thermal insulation, and airtightness—crucial for maintaining the stable environment that data centers require. The smooth, clean surface and moisture-proof design also make them ideal for sensitive equipment areas.
